I first saw Midnight Oil in a little wine bar on Oxford street in Sydney.
Some friends had said I must come and see them they were great!!!! What I saw down inthat tiny room changed the way I thought about music. Peter and the boys just rocked, they tore the house apart. I couldn't stop the sound bouncing around in my head for days. and I think I was one of the first down at "Frenches" the next Monday night. Some years later while working with a support act I was talking to Connie who was managing the band on the road and she tried to catagories the music. Aall I could say that it was "Ferocious Rock".
